The main idea of this journal artical is how american televison is changing Canadian culture. How Canadians are losing their own culture and becoming more like Americans.
The assumption that the author has made about Canadian culture is all Canadians watch american tv and are starting to change the way they act in society because of this.
The author has lots of examples to support their claim including the advertisements we are starting to see and the gun and gang violence increasing in Canadian society.
The only information that was missing from the article was more on Candians who don't follow american culture and how they mange to keep their own culture.
This article suggest that alot of our culture comes from the United States and their television but in our group we believed that our culture was made up of many different culture from around the world and they all influence us.
